Quimper Faience

Founded in Quimper in 1690, the HB-Henriot Quimper Faience Manufacture is one of the oldest company in continuous business in France. Over more than 300 years, the company has refined its craft, but things are done pretty much in the same way today. Starting with raw clay, the company creates some of the most beautiful pieces of faience in the world. Every Quimper Faience piece is still hand-painted by one of the gifted artists employed by HB-Henriot, but now pieces are lead-free and microwave safe. After a few years of absence in the USA, the HB-Henriot Quimper Faience products are now available again in America.
