Mille couleurs means "a thousand colors," and the bright prints of these Garnier-Thiebaut aprons may well have a thousand colors (we lost count). Depicted in the design are fireworks, spirals, shooting stars, moons, crowns, suns, constellations, and the words Cosmos and Andromede, in a starburst of colors. Amazingly, this design is woven into a thick (but not heavy) cotton fabric. The fabric is coated with acrylic to repel water and oils while cooking. The neckstrap adjusts with a button and buttonholes for a secure fit that won't snag your hair.
The Azur colorways is a study in all different shades of blue, from aqua to cornflower to azure.
Spills wipe clean with a sponge, and you can machine-wash as well. Made in France.
