The traditional Savon de Marseille (Marseille soap) has been around for about 600 years. The label Savon de Marseille can only be given to soaps made in or near Marseille naturally with olive oil. This Savon de Marseille made by an esteemed soapmaking family since 1812 is of the finest quality 100% biodegradable 72% pure olive oil and contains no artificial colors. The specialized milling process, which triple mills the soap, makes it longlasting and gives it a rich lather. It can also be used in the kitchen, in the laundry for hand washables, and is excellent for gardeners.
