If you need a hole in the center of your tablecloth to allow the use of a table umbrella, we offer three options:

Option 1: The fabric lined umbrella hole. The umbrella hole is done professionally and is lined with matching fabric. There is a $15 charge for this option. IMPORTANT: This option requires approximately one week to complete. This option is only for a hole and requires the umbrella to be lifted off the table to change the tablecloth.

Option 2: The umbrella hole with plastic grommet. The umbrella hole is finished with a plastic ring. Most tablecloths will be done with a dark brown plastic ring. In some cases we will use a ring of coordinated color. This is done in-house and will not add any delay or cost. This option is only for a hole and requires the umbrella to be lifted off the table to change the tablecloth.

Option 3: NEW! - The umbrella hole with a zipper. The hole is similar to the fabric line option (option 1), but the tablecloth is cut in one direction and a zipper is added. This allows the tablecloth to be set and removed without having to move the umbrella. There is a $25 fee for this option. IMPORTANT: This option requires approximately one week to complete.

If you are ordering several tablecloths and would like an umbrella hole in each, please purchase this option for each tablecloth. If you are purchasing several tablecloths but not every one needs an umbrella hole, please let us know which one(s) need a hole in the note section in the shopping cart. Tablecloths with an umbrella hole will incur a 25% restocking fee if returned.

How was I going to figure out how to put a table cloth on our new outdoor table that has an umbrella smack dab in the middle? I looked at table cloths with zipper closures around central holes; I thought about asking a local tailor to cut out a hole; thought of trying to do it myself. What a headache! Then, when I saw that this table cloth can come with a ready-made hole for a reasonable additional fee, I jumped that the chance! Problem SOLVED! Plus, it looks great, it seems sturdy, and it's just the right size. I can't imagine a better solution--highly recommended!

The tablecloth fits and looks beautiful on our outdoor table. The color is magnificent. It looks beautiful with our flower ipots surrounding the table. Very pleased.

Added an embroidered umbrella hole

I had a tablecloth with an umbrella hole which had a plastic ring insert. After about a year’s worth of use the tablecloth slipped out of the ring and would no longer stay attached. I contacted I dream of France and they stitched an embroidered ring around the hole. They only charged me for the work and did not charge me for shipping so I appreciated the workmanship and the quick service. I highly recommend I dream of France!
