The small village of Laguiole (the locals say "La-yoll") in Southern France is famous worldwide for of its knives and fine cutlery. Following a tradition dating from the 19th century, the Laguiole knives as well as forks and spoons are still made in much the same way today. Over time, the manufacture has moved to the larger nearby town of Thiers. Genuine Laguiole knives, spoons and forks such as these must not only be made in France, but they must be made in or near the town of Thiers.
This bundle of spoons, tea spoons, and dinner forks is a prime example of the Laguiole tradition. This bundle includes six teaspoons, six spoons, and six dinner forks. These utensils adorn the traditional bee and faux-horn acrylic handles. Each set of six come in a wooden case. Teaspoon measures approximately 6 inches in length, while spoons and forks measure about 8 inches in length. High quality, made in Thiers, France by Jean Dubost
