French Folk Songs Music CD

The performer's voice is somewhat hoarse and unpleasant. The songs are nice to have in my French musical repertoire.

Mostly disappointed as I was raised on French folksongs and found only 5 out of the 12 that I recognized. Also, her voice and the accompaniment were disappointing. Far too raucous rendition of Alouette and Frere Jacques. Her accent probably isn't French, at best French Canadien. But I can't be all negative. I looked up several of the songs and found they were genuine French or French Canadian folksongs, two from the time of the French Revolution.
