I am unable to edit my last review without subscribing to a service, as I understand it; but I need to follow up honestly with my assessment of the product after my last experience. Again, these diffusers are very cute but have issues with the corks breaking off easily, and in one case leaking the entire amount of lavender oil onto my countertop over time. Thank you.
As another reviewer mentioned, the little corks are flimsy and break very easily; so don't press the stopper in too firmly. And I discovered today that the lavender oil I had put into my newest little diffusers had completely leaked out and lay in a sticky yellow puddle on the bathroom countertop. I don't know why that should have happened, but the diffuser must be faulty. I had been giving them as gifts but am reconsidering.
This little diffuser- and it is indeed little- will be a charming accent in my home, where my kitchen features Provençal colors. Now to buy some essential oils with which to fill it!
These diffusers are attractively decorated and nicely compact. I am using two with lavender oil in our bathrooms and one with thyme oil in the kitchen. I sent one to a friend as a birthday gift, and she said it was so lovely she would just put it onto a shelf. I suppose I will have to buy her some lavender oil!
I ordered two of these…Their appearance is quite charming and they seem very well-crafted. Filled them with my favorite oils for moth deterrence, placed one in a closet and one in a drawer filled with wool & cashmere wraps and the scent does subtly diffuse. I anticipate ordering more. One small glitch is that the tiny corks are easy to break. Other than that, I think they’re great.
