I have been lucky to do a lot of traveling past. Finding quality table linens in the United Kingdom, Italy and France was a discovery that allowed me to dress beautiful tables for formal or casual dining, as I love to cook and entertain. And French (Provence, specifically) linens are by far my favorite because you can
change the ambiance of the table and the room quickly and easily. But discovering I could exactly what I wanted without the plane ticket was an unexpected delight!
I ordered from I Dream once before (maybe two years ago) and like so many, I didn’t review what I loved. I just placed a second order and I have to tell you the quality could not be better. I bought both coated and uncoated fabrics. The coated have a stiffer hand and need to be dried without the dryer but they lay flat with no ironing never fade. The uncoated cotton are softer to the touch, and can be dried in the dryer (on delicate, if you must) but they need to be ironed For best smoothness and they will fade over time. Some of mine (purchased over 20 years ago) still are indestructible, if a bit faded.
I bought several designs and colors and highly recommend these in placemat, tablecloth or napkin form. You won’t be disappointed and the change is like redecorating your room with a simple change on the dining table or breakfast bar. I simply love mine.
The mill works great the design is very pretty. It arrived in perfect condition.
Beautiful napkins, a bit stiff but held up well with first wash. They are made from a thicker fabric which is great. Ironing required for presentation but worth it.
Lovely, washed up nicely after the first use. I had to remove the label, however, on the nicer side of the placemats. Perhaps placement on the rear side or less obvious place?
