The small village of Laguiole (the locals say "La-yoll") in Southern France is famous worldwide for of its knives. Following a tradition dating from the 19th century, the Laguiole knives are still made in much the same way today. Why are the Laguiole knives so popular? It comes down to three basic ingredients: they are beautiful, high quality and they cut really really well!
This set of 6 table knives is a prime example of the Laguiole tradition. These knives adorn the traditional bee, the blade is serrated stainless steel with black handles. The six knives come in a wooden case.

A gift for my husband. Haven’t tried them yet but they are beautiful.
Although this knife set is a gift, as are several other sets we've purchased, we own and consistently use a set of the stainless steel handle knives as utility dinnerware for all meat courses. These are absolutely the best meat knives we have ever handled. Their edges are seriously designed for effortless meat cutting. My highest recommendation for purchasing this product. I guarantee everyone who cuts with these knives will be greatly impressed.
I bought this to replace a tablecloth just like it that I accidentally ruined! (While on vacation, I left a potted plant on it, and it molded beyond my ability to clean it..) it’s pretty and repels stains, but not mold stains that are three weeks old! Wash, dry, and fold or use without ironing.
I used to buy these table linens at the markets in Provence and have used and loved them forever. I hadn't been able to find them until I found "I Dream of France". My placemats literally had holes in them and my husband was not happy but I kept using them because i loved the fabric and the pattern. The placemats and tablecloths are exactly the same quality and I believe are the same manufacturers as those in France, I love them. The coated ones wipe clean and launder beautifully as do the uncoated placemats. I am so happy to have found "I Dream of France". Sinde I can't use any more myself, I will buy them for gifts I know will be loved for years to come.
Love this towel. It's very absorbent and lovely as well.
